David is an assurance services director and has been with the firm since 1992. He is currently the firm's Managing Director. David is responsible for the audit of a number of our larger companies – listed and unlisted – and is experienced in both external and internal auditing. He is a licensed auditor under the Auditor Regulation Act 2011 and is consequently licensed to audit issuers.

David gained international experience spending time with our Baker Tilly International Associates Inc. affiliate in Chicago. He carries out a number of special-purpose reviews, business process re-engineering, internal control reviews, risk assessment and due diligence assignments for clients. he has been involved in issuing a number of prospectuses and has been part of successful IPO projects.

David is also the Chair of Baker Tilly Staples Rodway New Zealand.
